In music, we call it ‘sympathetic resonance’ when a passive string responds to an external vibration with harmonic likeness. Similarly, when conditions are just right, our core issues can be triggered with all the potency of the original trauma. But in those terrible moments, something amazing is happening: an aperture is opening up for us to heal the past. The present, in its infinite wisdom, is allowing us to touch the old wound, offering us a chance to feel all the way through it, to finally let our grief run its full course.

Am not a commenter, as a rule.. just want you to know that in this silence is deep appreciation and much attention.

  4. So much clearing of old wounds right now, with Merc in retro in Scorpio, as well as Saturn in Scorp. Intense opportunities to finalize and set ourselves free, YAY!!!

  5. I had a dream last night. I caught a snake and was holding it firmly behind the jaws, when it struggled free and bit me. It was green and had a diamond shaped head, and I wasn’t sure whether it was poisonous or not, so I looked it up, and was pretty sure its venom would cause nothing more than a queasy feeling for a day or two. It was interesting…and very clear. Do snakes have a significance?

  6. Thank you from my heart…….

  7. Thank you ! 🙂

  8. Thank you!!! This is so clear…

  9. and yet, so often, we lock horns and the opening becomes a doubly intertwined rack. our minds move in, to make sense of our heart’s pain… but as Einstein is credited with saying, something to the effect of, a higher level than the initial one- that was present when the problem was created- needs to be brought to bear in order to resolve the situation

  10. I love this explanation and totally get it but it’s the feeling all the way through where I get stuck. It sounds like such a lovely phrase but really how does one do this???
